Working Papa

"Mother never told me what was my father's actual job, she always replied with him being a doctor, doing important stuff, being an important person. It made me feel proud, I was excited to one day become a doctor as well, helping people, others looking at me like if I was their hero, savior -- but, yes, me and my mother didn't share the same definition, other than that my father was indeed a well-working surgist, he was a lot more than that, however. My connections with Acer were zero-zero, in a way. So one day, I decided to visit my father in our basement where we kept some of our defected leeches and where he supposedly worked on some of his patients. I remember when I stepped inside for the first time, going down the stairs and the smell of rotting flesh kept crawling in my nose and mouth, it got worse and worse the more I descended. It had a sterile hospital smell mixed with disinfection and a leech stench. To my surprise and wonders, all I saw were flasks and jars with varieties of hardly identifical creatures laden and swaying inside some kind of liquid. Some of them were more humanoid and some of them were beings hard to describe. And at the very end, I finally saw Him 'working'. I loved being a doctor."

Something from their past so.. I just simply couldn't resist.
